Prada Arrives in the Iconic Dolomites

A New Luxury Destination Merges High Fashion with Alpine Heritage

Italian luxury fashion house Prada has officially opened its first boutique in the prestigious mountain town of Cortina d'Ampezzo. This strategic expansion establishes a significant retail presence for the brand in the heart of the Italian Alps, catering to an international clientele.

Architectural Design Inspired by the Dolomites

The new Prada boutique spans an impressive 200 square meters across three distinct levels. The interior design thoughtfully incorporates natural materials such as larch wood, walnut, stone, and velvet. These elements are intentionally selected to create a visual and tactile dialogue with the surrounding alpine landscape, offering a unique shopping environment.

Curated Men's and Women's Collections on Display

The boutique's first floor is dedicated to the complete Prada Men's collection. The space is elegantly framed by a striking stone wall and features a prominent bow window showcasing the brand's footwear line.

On the second floor, visitors will find the Women's collection. This area boasts distinctive architectural features including exposed wooden trusses and a cozy, traditional 'stube'—a classic Alpine

  • style lounge—that enhances the warm atmosphere. A key highlight of this level is a private terrace offering breathtaking views of the UNESCO World Heritage site, the Dolomites.

  • A Strategic Move in Luxury Retail

The opening of the Cortina boutique represents a calculated move by Prada to strengthen its footprint in key luxury destinations beyond major metropolitan centers. By choosing a location renowned for its natural beauty and high

  • end tourism, Prada aligns its brand with a unique blend of sophistication and alpine elegance.
